The "Dr. Yen-Son (Paul) Huang Memorial Courtyard," officially inaugurated this year (2024) at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Science Building 3, Hsinchu Campus, serves as a monumental art installation that engages in a cross-generational dialogue through contemporary language. This courtyard not only provides students with a welcoming space to walk, sit, and converse, but also subverts the traditional concept of a monument. From above, it resembles a large three-dimensional silicon wafer, serving as an outdoor amphitheater that fosters interaction among faculty, students, and visitors.

炎松之圓坐落在國立陽明交通大學新竹校區的科學三館前，它不只是一座紀念性藝術裝置，更是一場跨世代的對話，以當代語彙重新詮釋空間與記憶的連結。這個場域不只是個標誌性的存在，而是學生們能夠自在步行、休憩、交流的空間，甚至顛覆了傳統紀念碑的概念。從空中俯瞰，它像是一片立體的矽晶圓，巧妙地呼應了科技與未來，也兼具戶外圓形劇場的功能，讓師生與訪客之間的互動變得更自然、更有機，讓這座校園中的記憶與日常生活真正交織在一起。
