The Taitung Tree House Project personifies Taitung as a rustic, free-spirited soul. Located on the historic grounds of a former railway repair shop, the design features "Floating Treehouses" that humbly embrace ancient trees rather than encroaching on them. By integrating GLT (Glued Laminated Timber) technology with the traditional indigenous craft of weaving, we have "woven" a sustainable architectural landmark within 300 days. Spanning around 7,000 square meters of indoor and outdoor space, the project dissolves traditional boundaries, inviting visitors to stroll from the forest floor to the canopy via winding ramps. More than just a building, it is a living dialogue between architecture and land—a sanctuary that captures Taitung’s essence of "slow living" and boundless freedom.

本專案將台東擬人化為質樸且自由的靈魂，選址於載滿記憶的舊鐵道維修廠，以「浮在空中的樹屋」為核心，讓建築謙遜地環繞老樹而生。我們運用 GLT 木構技術將原住民編織技藝與鐵道線條轉譯為建築語彙，透過 300 天的精準組裝，實現與自然共生的永續願景。室內外兩千餘坪的空間模糊了界線，人們可沿斜坡漫步至樹梢，在風與光影中感受慢活。這不僅是一座建築，更是讓生命重回自然懷抱、展現台東生活態度的自由場域。
